With a view to reinforcing its position as a “one-stop-shop” and to broaden its offer in terms of precision mechanics, on 18 September 2020 Ateliers Jean Del’Cour ratified the purchase of Mecatech, an SME with EN 9100 certification located in Fexhe-le-Haut-Clocher, which employs around ten people for a turnover in excess of one million Euros. The project, launched in October 2019 by former owners Alain and Silvia Vanderbyse, became a reality thanks to common values and both parties’ desire to develop the business, notably by integrating a larger number of less able-bodied workers.
All of Mecatech’s staff and equipment will be transferred to Grâce-Hollogne in the first days of January 2021, and the workshop that will house the precision machining activity will allow the integration of new CNC equipment. Work on the new infrastructure is currently under way and both the internal and external teams are working hard to meet the very tight schedule. We are delighted with the prospects generated by this merger, which will now combine the technical skills present at Mecatech with JD’C’s organisation and sales force. Don’t hesitate to contact us to take advantage of this new offer!
